26YD Club Events 2006 2006 // 2005 // 2004 // 2003 Moncourt Tacticals 2006 At the end of November our club organized three day battle portraying battle of Monocurt – first battle action of 328 Infantry regiment in WWII. Al the three days we were fighting with a number of German units, including SS troops. We had a number of targets – destroy radio tower, took strategic palaces and finally enter the city. More pictures you can see at page of Reenactment Photographer Zdice - The Letters reeanactment 2006 Exhibition battle, portraying “Falais pocket” battle took place at the event of Zdice military vehicle club. Our group build a big camp for exhibition and lead the full battle. More pictures you can see at page of Reenactment Photographer Liberty Road - South Bohemia 2006 Our best event during the year is “Liberty road”. During this event we took our military vehicles, our uniforms and equipment and ride across the country, where U.S. soldiers were in 1945. We are trying to find the smallest villages, the worse roads, the oldest people to remember them the end of the war. Official celebrations often forgot on this people in little towns, which welcomed the liberators in 1945. This is our way and our best event – to bring spirit of the liberation to people who lived it many years ago. More pictures you can see at page of Reenactment Photographer Nadryby 2006 Every year our group together with other WWII clubs and city of Nadryby organize battle exhibition nearby the village. For one weekend the entire village changes to the year 1945 and waiting for liberation. Our group build up here a big, for visitors opened camp full of “living history displays”. The camp was closed only during main exhibition of the all weekend – huge and well-prepared battle exhibition, which shows the last days of Third Reich army in the western Bohemia to thousands of visitors.
