The Second World War ends, is possible to say, in Czechoslovakia. Not only for citizens of our country, but mainly for the soldiers of allied forces. There were many of divisions, and one of them was the 26th Infantry division. Soldiers of this division came through the hell of WWII battles to the Southwest Bohemia. People little bit forget on the YD soldiers, because here was huge number of more glorious divisions. But they made their hard job on the same way, and maybe better then other.

26th Infantry division as a Living history club was found in 2004 as a coalition
of another WWII clubs from Czech Republic: 1st Infantry Division, 2nd Infantry Division, 16th Armored Division, 90th Infantry Division, and 94th Infantry Division U.S.Army. This clubs was in close cooperation for many years, so building of the coalition was only evolution.

Our Living history club is fully self-supporting. We have three full platoons, fully equipped and armed, with own medical or food rear. All of our uniforms and equipment is original or best made copy. Our group can offer wide spectrum of original WWII vehicles (including half track White M16), the widest collection of WWII U.S. material in Czech Republic and mainly the know how of WWII world, orders or movement of soldiers in the field or outing.
